Standards are great because they let people from different places and backgrounds view the same thing and understand the same basic information. Traffic lights are standardized within jurisdictions so all the drivers there understand them. Directory structures for MR data are standardized here so that all the members of the lab can understand the data and collaborate on it together. Below we detail this standardization.
