FFTs in NetStation

1. Open collected data in NetStation window
2. In the Dense Waveform Display view (DWD), click and hold the shift key to select at least 20 seconds of data. Drag your cursor across the EEG continuous file to collect that data you would like to examine.
NOTE: to change the seconds display, in the Time Scale option at the top of the DWD view, you can select how many seconds are shown.
3. Go to View and select New Spectral Window.
4. Go back to the DWD window and drag the highlighted data in the newly created spectral window. FFTs for individual channels will appear.
5. In the accompanying small window, select 2 standard deviations for the best view of the power y-axis. Use the scroll arrows on the x-axis of the graph to extend the frequency axis.

Exporting EEG Data

1. Close NetStation post recording
2. Open NetStation using the icon in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen
3. Choose "Waveform Tools"
4. In the window that appears, drag your recorded file
5. Choose the type of file you'd like to save as
6. The newly saved file will be saved in the folder of the originally recorded EEG file.
