How to transfer files to or from the Hoffman2 Cluster

This section describes using the Globus web interface. If you prefer using a command line interface on your desktop, please send an email to hpc@ucla.edu

If you want to transfer files to or from your local desktop machine, start Globus Connect (Windows: gc.exe) on your local machine. A small status window will appear. When the connection has been made, the dot at the left of the connection will turn green. If you want to transfer files between two remote machines, you do not need to start Globus Connect.
